Help us to walk in your ways Lord.To ask You for the wisdom that comes from above, to rely on your Holy Word and trust implicitly in your love for us, we fear and dread your mighty wrath which the prophet has revealed to us in chapter 15, when we are unfaithful. Grant us your mercy. Lord we repentwith all our hearts, help us to do your Holy will and nevr spurn or reject you ever.

As compared to the Old Testament, the New Testament projects Jesus as the answer to the constant supplications of the Prophet Jeremiah

Yes, we have to repent for our sins, but we still need to take heed of all God's grace to continue this walk with him. Dear Fr Warner, in this chapter we see an angry God & Jeremiah's faithfulness & unwavering commitment to Him. God's Hands are always stretched out in blessing but now He is tired of relenting & reaffirms His decision to destroy Judah. God's promise of protection to Jeremiah gives us new strength & comfort knowing that in our moments of trial & despair - we are never alone for He is always with us. I really like the Lord’s response to Jeremiah confession. I too have often complained and today I hear the voice of the Lord speak to me and say stop complaining but do as I the Lord ask you to do and I the Lord will save and deliver you. Many a times we want to do things our way and not the Lord's way and expect God to help us. Jesus give me the grace to come back to You that I may always have You with me. Help me to remain in your love .

It's the people fault. How long would God tolerate. Jeremiah is so disheartened he is interceding. God is waiting for us if we return back to Him, He is waiting with His arms opened. Reconciliation is very important. Thanks Father for this chapter
