The rhythm really underlies the determination of the group who have to steel themselves for battle. The vow, the sharpening of swords.

I look forward to doing some autumn Dainas next, and singing about the agricultural landscape.

This is filmed in one of my favourite places in the world, the shingle harbour in Hastings, Sussex. Recorded on the beach in a separate video.
