Hey there! I wanted to share a quick view of my Georgia collard greens. They were planted at the beginning of April (the earliest I've ever planted them) and they are doing well this summer. I will be harvesting (picking) a few bunches of greens so I can store them and enjoy them later this summer!
Thanks for watching!

I kept mine growing for five years, same plants! They looked like waist high palm trees after a few years. But the 2021 Texas Blizzard did them in. Replanting! Wish me luck! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

These collards are beautiful and one of my favorite greens. The silly thought just occurred to me that a nice small head of the collards would make a nice wedding bouquet! 😀😀😀. Funny how the mind works!!😃

That year I kept the collards covered with tulle fabric to prevent the cabbage moth from getting to the greens. The cabbage moth is my biggest pest.

I planted a purple collard green tree and a green collard green tree. When they are mature, they’ll be over 6 feet tall. And I’ll have greens year round.

The delivery men (well, they always seem to be men at my house) have something to look forward to. Greens are the work horses in my garden. Those collard greens should be on a magazine cover, Batavia!

First year gardener here. Your collards don't look like they have been attacked by pest. What's your secret?

What are you growing with those collards? Bugs must scared of the repellent effect. I see no holes. Please share
Thank you 🙏
