It would be nice to show some of the function. The “quick start guide” that come with it is essentially pointless. I was very excited to receive mine but it isn’t working properly. I’m going to find more information on this, but very disappointed.

XLR test: switch to 3. Green and red 3 on and red 1. Switch to 1 Green and red 1 and red 3??? What does that mean?

I just got one and cannot get the battery compartment open. It says, "lift to withdraw, " but nothing is moving. Any suggestions? I'm thinking I may have to return it.

Will this tester generate sound to test speakers also?

Let's just say for giggles, you're just a guitar player and not an electrical engineer. And you have no idea how to read the Jack vs. Speakon vs. Phono LED Pin Indicators. You just want to know if your cables are good or bad. Is there a simple translation of what we should be looking for when we plug in different cables to the box and start turning the 6 way knob?
