I feel you. We did a 20K 1 day event for a couple of years. The paperwork spirals out of control. Traffic, parking, insurance, safety and crowd management becomes a headache.

Dude...good on you for checking. I own a wetland. The EPA is no joke. A co-worker of mine drained the wetland on his property without a permit. The fine was reduced from over 2 million to just under 200k because the EPA said he was never likely to pay a 2million dollar fine. He is still wrecked though.
