And I always celebrate every July 20 cause that was the perfect day when Christ came to save me .I maybe a teenager and in our days this kind of song has little appreciation than it should be. But I really realize that this hymns of Christianity will sound until He will come again. And I keep this fire of the Holy Spirit burning withing me. On Sept 8, 2021 my beautiful Mom went home to Jesus. On Sept 5, she was particularly restless and uncomfortable, so I looked for some piano music to help soothe her and found this. Mom played piano for our church's worship ministry when I was young and I remember so well her playing these songs--in church as well as at home. That night in September, I played these for her as I crawled in to bed with her. Within minutes, she was resting comfortably in my arms and was able to go to sleep. As hard as it is to think about, I will always cherish the memory of holding my precious Mom until she settled--just the way she held me in her arms, no matter how old I was, until I was comforted. Thank you for this compilation, it means more than anyone knows.

I am 68 years old, but my life is slowly ending. I am learning to play the piano, and I vowed to the Lord when I became proficient enough, to visit old folks centers and play hymns on their piano or my portable digital keyboard what years I have left. My mind and body are still sharp; I know I can do it. This is another main goal on my bucket list. I only regret I did not begin learning the piano years sooner. I am 81 + and I had a wonderful marriage with my husband as we grew to love each other dearly.. For about 6 months his health was failing and he wanted me to be by him. He passed away peacefully on the 6th of January 2019 with the family by him. In the background hymns were played. So much so that we did not realize that he had passed away.peace peacefully. Praise the Lord. However I miss him so.

My grandma went home to be with Jesus last night at the age of 95. She was a very strong woman of faith. She was a pastor's wife for most of her life and raised a family of seven children. No family is perfect and her's wasn't either...they experienced grief and lose and challenges but she gave so much to her family and to God in her lifetime. These songs remind me of her singing and playing piano - she loved music so much!! Because of her we always sang our prayers at family gatherings. Praying her legacy will continue to be celebrated and remembered by the generations to come and that our faith may also be as strong. Jesus may we be strong enough to carry on the faith of those who went before!
