For those of you who used screws too long and they are now sticking outside of you're camper, just take a grinder and take the tips off the screws or use them as hangers for swim shorts. If you have enough of them you can use it as an almost effective, anti-bear intrusion system/ deterrent. Whatever you do, don't fill your camper walls with holes!

I need more help for the back of the TV to be on tye mount. The mount in my rv is already installed. I have a 40 inch samsung tv I don't really much care for but for now I just leaned on the fire place.

I had an area in our horse trailer that was I think “designated “for TV since coaxial & plug was above but there was no metal plate or stud in area that I found. I tried plastic anchors they were useless just spun in thin wallboard. I ended up using metal toggle bolts they hold tv mount great. Thanks for video!

Great video!! Was going crazy trying to mount tv where manufacturer marked with no backing found. Magnet trick helped me find the metal plate...6 inches away from wrongly marked sticker. 5 minutes later, I'm up and running!!!!

Like your trick of finding the metal backing but when I tried even though the sticker is there - nothing. I do feel the difference around he area when I tap on it but I might just need to remove the outlet and cable plate to see since they are on the side not on top like yours.

Mine has this sticker but I feel no magnetism. It feels empty behind it and the studs aren’t centered where I need them. I even pulled the end cap on the wall off and pull the wall board out a little. Absolutely nothing behind the wallboard. So the sticker meaning there is a metal plate is not true for all manufacturers.

I didn't trust the metal plate because the whole panel just moved everywhere... I went with a stud... Wish I knew about the magnets though.

2024 Keystone Springdale 1800BH 20. Travel Trailer. No metal at all in the Tv mounting Bracket decal area. I tried a magnet on the stud area (16" apart per my stud finder) and they appear to be be wood.
