I got onto the most recent public Beta - worth mentioning that they moved the background and foreground options from the layer panel. Now you need to click on the frame you want in the FRAME bar and that will bring up the fly out needed to set it.

I would love to be able to have more layers as back and foreground (+ midgrounds?). So it would be easy to move the layers to create parallax effects.

I just updated Procreate and I love the new features, but I don't have the option of animation foreground or background on layers.

Its definitely nice to have to probably do some rough keyframing/storyboarding but I feel this wont replace actual desktop apps like Toon Boom, Moho, or Animate. Especially since modern animation relies more on creating a puppet then doing fbf.
