BLACK BAG FILM REVIEW | Soderbergh’s newest film #blackbagfilm

BLACK BAG is the kind of movie that they don't make as many of any more. It's a common expression that they don't make em like they used to, but when it comes to this adult drama by way of sexy spy thriller I found myself thinking it throughout. Steven Soderbergh is a director whose work I'll always go out of my way to see, but when you pair him with Fassbender? With Blanchette? With PIERCE BRONSAN? Oh yeah I'm all in!

This was a really good spy film. No action, just a good ole spy detective film. So many twists in trying to figure out who is telling the truth. Acting was superb. Cinematography and story is tight. Not amust see but you will enjoy it. 8.25/10

I actually have a different take on the Bond inspired theme. Prior to Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson selling creative control to Amazon, I feel this was sort of an audition film for them to consider when casting next Bond film for Director Steven Soderberg and for Rege-Jean Page as 007.

Just saw it. For a spy movie, the story itself is pretty straightforward. Interesting part are the main actors. They do a really good job to shift blame back and forth. Great casting.
Overall Solid but was not waaauww.

It's a reskinned got caught cheatting love movie. No action just dialogue. Basically feels like they stretched the opening of mr and mrs Smith into a whole movie.
