Damn, this song really hit different right at the end of Shrek 2. I remember it always made me think of Kingdom Hearts and (for whatever reason) the color purple. I saw some people describe it as creepy, and I kinda understand that. I sorta thought of it as a little moody/ethereal that walks a certain kinda line. I always had this image that Kingdom Hearts was all pretty and Disney, but also had this deep, dark side to it as well. I never got to properly play the games as a kid but I knew it had this quality to it that walked both lines

as a little kid I would replay the end credits of this movie just to hear this version and i didn't even know this was by frou frou/Imogen. Later on when i became obsessed with Imogen's and Frou Frou's music I was like "makes sense" lol

This is my favorite song from Shrek 2 and just in my opinion Shrek 2 is the best movie in the franchise with Shrek 1 at 2nd place Shrek Forever After at 3rd and Shrek The Third at 4th
