I guess you could pull a vacuum and then let the resign cure inside the vacuum before letting the air back in. But I guess some bubbles may just become bigger without rising to the top and they will obviously stay big, if you let it cure in a vacuum. So not sure if that approach would really be an advantage. Not to mention that you would of course need a good seal, to sustain the vacuum over a fairly long time. Anyway, you should try sanding all the surfaces flat and polishing them. May be extra post-processing. But I bet it would look pretty cool.

That's pretty nuts cutting a solar cell! Must admit I've hacked a house solar panel so I could use it on my ute. My question is this, because you want to use monocrystalline solar cells for longevity; Why not make it bigger? Comprehensive documentation nonetheless of your project, I really need to start doing something similar myself for my own projects ;)
