Investing for Beginners | How to Own the World Summary & Key Points | Make your money work for you!

I’ve recently finished ‘How to Own the World: A Plain English Guide to Thinking Globally and Investing Wisely’ by Andrew Craig and wanted to share with you some key points from this fantastic personal finance/ investing book, which I’ll be using in my own personal finance and investing plans. It's perfect for anyone who is looking to start investing as a beginner here in the UK. I actually listened to this book on audible so will read out a few of the quotes and add any points I might have on them too.

In review I felt that ‘How to Own the World’ was a beginner friendly read that manages to make investing, financial independence, and retirement planning exciting. The tone is upbeat and encouraging throughout, and Andrew Craig manages to explain some arguably complex topics clearly and concisely.

I’ll go through my key points from ‘How to Own the World’ in chronological order. The areas I’ll be covering from the book in today’s video are:
