Israel has carried out new strikes against Lebanon, despite a US-led call for a temporary ceasefire. A joint statement urging a 21-day truce was issued by the US, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and other countries, following talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Top Israeli ministers have rejected calls for a cease-fire in Lebanon. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hasn't formally responded to the US-France-led proposal but has ordered the army to continue fighting the Hezbollah militant group with "full force."

Hamas have refused a ceasefire and no one forced Hezbollah to fire over 8000 rockets into northern Israel. I wonder what the UK would have done if the Irish Republic had fired the same amount of ordinance into Northern Ireland in support of the IRA?

Those tunnels would be juicier to flood than those in Gaza. The Litani suddenly becomes an underground river.

Ceasefire is not on the vocabularies of terrorists. Ceasefire for them means that the opposite army stops firing but not them.

US must pressure Lebanon and Iran to stop Hezbollah instead of pressuring Israel to stop depending its citizens
