Dew Pond Creation - Part C begins by showing how the water was and how it is slowly being added. As the pond fills the liner not being fixed is changed as per the water level dictates. Water seeks it's own level and so must the pond shape, embankments, and size change with it. In this video I show how to put in a size access for wildlife and show how to plan ahead when adding details to a pond. This permaculture design and build project was created on top of a mountain ridge where a pond would most likely not be created naturally. Dew ponds are a potable water collection from rainfall or "dew" which often was created a watering source for cattle or livestock. It is a resource that can increase self reliance in an off grid situation and is a material that is needed in building construction. Benefits included are a change in the environment and surrounding ecosystem, frog and toad production, dragonfly adaptation, happy peaceful self reliant humans, water supply for deer and small animals, possible food and water supply, livestock water supply, possible swimming hole, and utilizing a natural resource.
