Unavoidably, I am Seojun and Jugyeong shipper. I've been aiming to cheer myself up by watching k-dramas, known for delivering straight forward, one season only entertaiment, but I guess it's just my luck that I keep rooting for the second leads. This time however, there was nothing I could do to avoid it 😪 These two are my favorite part of the webtoon, their relationship is literally frenemies to friends to lovers excellece, and in the k-drama even though the dynamics is a bit different, they're still the ones who get along best, and there's way too much reference from source material for me to be able to help it.

Plus, look at them!

I also ship her with Suho (it kinda hurt me to edit that 'he don't deserve you' part haha), but these two just cater to very specific interests of mine, and I'm a sucker for angst, so here you have it.

This edit is pretty simple, I made it quickly to get it out of my system, but I actually love it cause the song just hits where it's supposed to.

Seojun is the realistic representation of falling in love with someone. It's slow and steady at the start but once you reach the peak it accelerates like the drop of a roller coaster. He initially never noticed Jugyeong and only paid attention to her because of his rivalry with Suho but as he got to know her better, he slowly learned more about her idiosyncrasies (silly antics like roaring, weird habits like finishing the drink from the mouth of the cup) and fell in love with her slowly for who she is! Such an organic process, and he only got to know her through the time and effort he spent getting to know her in and outside of school and now at the part-time job.
Seojun understands her frustrations, worries and desires and he unconditionally supports her at the expense of his own time and feelings.
This is true love!

Why Seojun is a dream guy for everyone? He is not manipulative, he let Jukyung do whatever she wants. He is not insecure. He's more of a confident man bcoz he NEVER did any move with Jukyung starting the day when he knew that she is dating Suho. He's a family oriented man, strong on the outisde but a soft baby chic for his mom and sister. We knew it, Seojun best boi.
