You got a awesome deal, I have a 028 from 1984 and an 023 from the early 90's. They still run perfect. Good job man you will love that chainsaw. With good care and maintenance it should last you a lifetime. Probably the best $50 you've ever spent.

I got a stihl 036 pro rebuilt it and new chain, loved it so I bought a couple 025 saws and I love them. Can’t go wrong with a stihl. The first 025 I bought for $70 with no chain and needs repair so you got a pretty good deal!

I've got the same saw I bought new in 1997. I recently took it out of storage for 9 years. It runs like new. I put a new spark plug in it first. That's important to do that and gap it correctly. I bought mine new for $290 in '97. Of course the case, oil, chain oil, and extra chain were extra. You got a good deal

I'm very happy with the chainsaw, I just used it today and it runs good chopped some pecan logs given to me by my neighbor, it is my favorite saw.I'm always looking for deals like this, I put a new bar and chain it's a 16 inch. I would prefer a 18 inch bar but I'm not complaining about it it was free from my boss so I'm thankful for the gift it is a stihl bar and chain so I'm happy with it, thanks for watching and happy new year.

I have the same saw, you got a great deal on a reliable saw. I enlarged the exhaust holes internally in the muffler with a small drill bit, and where the exhaust exits the muffler with a round file. Opening it up a little let's it breath better and allows you to enrich the carb giving it much more power. I wish I could find a truckload of the same saw at that price. 3 thumbs up, enjoyed the vid.
