Just wanted to add, this is possibly the most luxurious low maintenance car that takes regular unleaded in the USA. Considering today’s market, you can easily get a V6 at MSRP so it may not be that much extra over other vehicles being considered and this will do an easy 300, 000 miles just changing fluids, plugs, brakes, and tires.

The ES is just an insane bargain. Super smooth and dependable. I bought mine used for 36k with 32k miles. And then I see people spending over 50k for a jeep

The reason it doesn’t have folding rear seats, because it helps with the noise. But I would rather have them anyways. I have a 2017, headed to the dealership now to buy the 2024, ES 350. Best car I’ve ever owned.

I have an ES 300 H, vehicle is absolutely fantastic I have over 98, 000 miles on the car and the only thing that has ever broken was a door latch. I’ve never needed brakes or rotors or anything on this vehicle other than tires in oil
This is my second one just like it.
I will surely be buying the 2024.

I bought my E350 with the luxury package . I’ve never bought a flawless car before, but the ES is just that - nothing ! Not even a squeak ! My previous car cost more and had issues the entire time I owned it . Everything works perfectly so far plus it’s like a vault . It drives and handles beautifully . Further, the V6’s got plenty of power . It’s definitely a keeper 👍 .

Great review Kevin! I still have my 2019 ES300h and I am loving it more and more. It is such a smooth car to drive and it is way better than Mercedes or BMW and I am super happy with it - it does not miss a beat and it is so reliable! Currently at Lexus for MOT (annual check) and I am confident it will be passing with flying colours... One of the best quiet and smooth cars out there for a great value for money!

Did you know the reason why you can't fold the rear seat is because Lexus made the ES chassis stiffer in order to give it a more luxurious ride?!

Bought a 2021 350 ES in 2021. Perfect and wonderful since day of purchase. Will keep it forever, as that’s how long it will last for me. Don’t miss folding back seats as a family will have rear seat passengers and, therefore, wouldn’t be able to fold the rear seats down, anyway.

Just drove a base model ES350 for a day as a loaner. I was super surprised by how good it was to drive. I'm a big guy, and I felt it was roomier than the RX350. My legs didn't feel squished by the center console and door panel. Ths v6 was nice, not as smooth or quiet as my LS430, but I could live with it. Sales guy said the 2025 ES350 will be the same size as the current LS500. If this turns out to be the case and prices dont get ridiculous market adjustments, sign me up.

The Vapor Chrome Wheels can be seen on the Lexus ES special edition "Graceful Escort" for Japan.

Will the 250 or 350 be more reliable? I’ve heard 4 cylinders last longer than v6?

We recently bought a certified 2020 ES350 Premium. Even without the double pained glass or the larger wheels, it has been a great car. We get 33-35mpg on the highway and it's got plenty of power using 87 octane fuel. The only thing I miss is the touch screen. We wish it had one like our 2023 GX460 has. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the unit changed to the upgraded touch screen without costing two arms and a leg?

I think it would be hard to beat dollar for dollar the value the ES is, and has been for a long time. Excellent automobile.

May I know if you can take Lexus to any Toyota for maintenance? I don’t have Lexus dealer in my city . I love Lexus but I was told I can’t take it to Toyota dealer .

Got our 2023 Lexus ES300h Ultra Luxury trim and additional option in mid-april.

It is the Cloudburst Gray exterior with Acorn color semi-aniline leather interior.

Total Installed Packages & Accessories:

1) Premium Triple-beam LED headlamps;
2) Smartacess Card Key;
3) Premium Paint;
4) Lexus Interface with 12.3-in Multimedia Touchscreen Display;
5) Ultra Luxury Package;
6) All weather floor liners and trunk mat;
7) Door edge film by 3M;
8) The Preferred Accessory Package; and
9) The Dealer added a 5-year windshield protection/replacement coverage package and tinted the driver and passenger windows.

MORE:
The three-projector headlamp design creates an eye-catching L shape. Adding to this brilliant design, the headlamps feature LED side turn signals, as well as an Adaptive Front Lighting System6 that uses steering and speed sensors to direct the angle of low-beam illumination as the vehicle enters a curve. The Adaptive Front Lighting System monitors steering and speed with a suite of sensors and will automatically adjust the angle of your low-beam headlights to improve visibility on curved roads.

Ultra Luxury extras:
1) 18-inch split-five-spoke alloy noise-reduction wheels and Michelin "green" tires;
2) Power rear sunshade with manual rear-door sunshades;
3) Power open/close trunk with kick sensor;
4) 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display 10.2-inch Head-Up Display; and
5) Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking and Rear Pedestrian Detection, and Panoramic View Monitor.

Averaging 43+ MPG City/Hwy driving and I had the oil and filter changed at 1, 000 miles for my own peace of mind. Just For Reference: I was not going to wait one-year or 10, 000 miles to have the factory installed oil & filter changed. And, I shall be changing the Oil (Liqui Moly 0W-16 Spec V) and Toyota filter every 5, 000 miles from now on. Like Scotty Kilmer says, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. LOL 🤔

Still one of the best cars for the money, applying the theory of relativity. "way above its weight class" as you said young Kevin is the best way to put it.

The ES is a good bargain for people wanting to get from point A to point B comfortably. I'll take my GS 350 F Sport over one of them as it is more of an enthusiast car. Too bad the GS is gone. More people liked the price point of the ES and didn't care about rear wheel/all wheel drive. Lexus, understandably, made the bean counter decision.

Spot on as always... i can't knock the ES.

The lack of folding seat might has to do with noise reduction.
And wow, 8% off MSRP... That can only mean the ES is really not selling well in the US market. Do they offer 8% off got the NX or RX? II might be interested.
