THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK Clip - T-Rex in the City (1997) Jeff Goldblum

John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) summons chaos theorist Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to his home with some startling information -- while nearly everything at his Jurassic Park had been destroyed, his engineers happened to have a second site, where other dinosaurs were kept in hiding. It seems the dinosaurs on the second island are alive and well and even breeding; and Hammond wants Malcolm to observe and document the reptiles before Hammond's financiers can get to them.

As a kid, when I saw this part, I always thought that, that was the most fun that T-Rex had ever had in his life.
And the stories he was going to have when he got back home to his wife with their kid. LOL

I love how all the police came to help, but when they found out what it was, they all turned right back around. Even the animal department left 🤣

"Ian, Ian slow down a little"
*Turns around and flashes back to "Must go faster"*
"I don't think so" *accelerates* 😂😂😂

Just realized that the CGI of the t-rex is so raw here ... but blended perfectly ... our attention is just filled with intense rampage and chasing scenes ... and heart warming ending

The way the rex turned and tilted his head after hearing the slight groan of the infant was too priceless "He Knows..." The roar before he went on full pursuit was like: "You?!"

As a kid, I was sort of traumatized by the David Koepp’s death. The whole gargling before you die is pretty horrific.

I saw this in theater in Burbank as a kid in 7th grade. I was blown away that the Trex scene took place right outside the theater as I was watching it. Felt very surreal.

I love how all the vehicles in this franchise are limited to 20kmph, so that the dinosaurs can keep up.

Imagine being these guys who prolly got told that there was some kind of big animal on the loose without any specific detail. They probably went in expecting a tiger or something, then around the corner comes a fucking T-Rex lol

Fun fact, the guy who gets eaten is David Koepp, the guy who co-wrote this film and the original!

I love how in the scene or two before this one, it's either Ian or Sarah that goes "Wouldn't the male T-Rex see that we took his baby and be like "You!?!" Then the Rex hears his son and roars at them to which Sarah utters "He knows."

HA! 😂 I love the homage to Godzilla with the group of Japanese men running from the T-Rex at 0:28

When Sarah told Ian to slow down at (1:43), his response was pretty much spot on with mine. I was thinking: 'Yeah, right! I think not'. Goldblum's subtle tone seemed to make this part even funnier. 😂
