Honestly you have the market cornered on the lore videos and if you keep making them I will keep watching them. There are plenty of optimizer channels that breakdown everything about the new rules, but this is the only channel I've found that makes this quality of lore videos and its what I come for and can't find anywhere else.

The lore videos have an infinite replay value, the talking videos not so much, hence the views diference.

Ever since Hank & John Green started Patreon in 2013, I don't think a single YouTuber has deactivated their Patreon just because they felt like they were making enough money elsewhere and didn't want free money anymore. That's absolutely incredible and speaks so highly of your character!
Side note, I started watching you at the transition point between Skryim and d&d lore. No one does lore content like you.
Personal request: While you're doing individual dragons, can you do Cyan Bloodbane? I used him as a BBEG in my campaign once because I was fascinated by the tiny bit of lore I could find. I was disappointed that I couldn't find more than just a page or two though, so I'd love to see what you find.

Idk if your read this but I love your content when I work or just doing something I turn your Playlist on and learn what they don't tell you. I listen to 5 to 7 of your videos every day. If it means anything, you’re the sole reason of my continued interest in DND. Everyone I know has stopped playing so it’s been hard to keep up, but you’ve insured it doesn’t die in my past. Maybe one day I’ll be able to play again, until then I’ll stack up on the Rhexx knowledge.

My personal opinion is you should keep the patreon. I would look at it as tip money or like a yearly bonus. It can also help you develop the channel. More art, vtt designer on staff or call and so on... if you invest in the channel it's totally deserved money.

It's crazy how long I've been watching this channel. I used to watch a few skyrim videos with my friend over and over. I started playing skyrim again the other day, and rewatching some videos it turns out I watched them right after they came out!

I love your lore videos, I watch them constantly, and I'm super intrigued with your conversations with some of my other favorite YouTubers. Honestly, what turns me away is the length of those videos, and I feel bad for this but the lack of editing loses my focus (ADHD lol). The format of your lore videos are so catching, I dont know if it's the music, amazing art, or the fact that I'm learning something new every sentence about a world that inspires me. I'm obsessed with forgotten realms and monsters, but you're why this is my most watched channel 😁

To be honest something I’ve always dreamed of is perhaps a podcast-esque series of 15-20 minute videos of you and Aj Pickett simply discussing any topic of dnd. But specifically I would lose my mind (in the good way) if you both did such a series but discussing the gods and their ecologies. You know like Lathander and how a person in the dnd world would go about worshiping him or how a paladin of of one god would interact with a rival god ect.

Thank you so so much for your videos!! As some of the other commenters have said, it's probably not that the interview/talking about DND unscripted videos are not liked, it's that they don't have the same replayability factor as the lore/deep dive ones. I'll watch them once and be over with them (even though I enjoyed them), while I must have listened to some of your lore videos for more than 10 times. They are usually longer, relaxing, and chock-full of valuable information. Every time I re-listen to one of them it feels like I learn something new that I didn't catch the first time. Plus, they are PERFECT to fall asleep to for people with insomnia like me! They are also very relaxing to have in the background while I'm doing chores, cleaning the house or commuting.
That being said I personally love it when you post a video different from the usual formats because it's a refreshing change!
Keep doing what your doing and good luck with everything - you deserve it :)
