Other tips:
Exit at the back door.
Keep phone conversations short and quiet.
Take your backpack off when you board.
Don't crowd the front of the bus, move to the back and try to find a seat.

thank you so much for this video!! it’s helped me a lot, i did have a question tho— is only one person allowed to use the presto card? i’m traveling with 2 friends for 5 days and we are all going everywhere together, do we all need a presto card? or can i enter and use it and then hand it to my friend for her to use then once she’s done she hands it to the last friend; well mainly be using the street cars if that helps!! we’re trying to save money where we can and figured if we can use just one card we can save $12 buying 2 more lol— thank you!!!

Why does it say on the ticket that it expires in four months but yet it only works once? That doesn't make any sense. Of course it also doesn't make any sense that I bought a $3.25 ticket and it's good for 4 months. Why have that on the ticket if it's not true?

Google Maps has improved so much over the years. I still remember the days when I’d say I want to go from Scarborough to downtown Toronto and it would tell me to take the GO train and how some addresses would be off by two or three blocks 😅

Thank You. Is it possible to pay via phone using NFC? example I don't use my physical Bank Card. Just use Google Pay, which is connected to my Debit or Credit cards.

Toronto is a city in a well developed country that has rich Natural Resources but it transportation system (across all north America in general) pale in comparison to small country like Singapore with Zero Natural Resource.
Asian Metropolitan has much better Subway system than any Western Country

I have a question regarding the 2-hour timeframe, if for example you take the streetcar then need to take the bus. Do you need to tap twice? If so are you deducted $6.50 for tapping twice? Or just $3.25 due to the two hour time frame? Another example would be going to and back from a stop. Say you go to duffering st for just 30min, can you go back the same way and not be charged twice?

Hello. Very useful video. I’ve been in Toronto for a week now and my question might seem dumb but I’m still having trouble figuring out in which direction to take the subway or street car. I can’t seem to find in anywhere on streetcars stops or bus stops. And in the subway it usually only say southbound and northbound which I find confusing. Do you have a tip ?

Hi! Thanks for this video! I'm travelling to Toronto next week for 2 days, so I was wondering about the single fare. How does it work? Can I buy a ticket with cash and/or a card? How does the transfers work? 😊

Would love to know accessibility options and how that all works. We will be traveling with my 83 yo Dad and we will be using a wheel chair/walker

Next generation of transit users. As a baby boomer and when I grew up in Toronto from the 1960s to the 1980s, your options were cash, tokens or tickets-no Presto Card much less a Metro Pass.
