Having a “mode” like this isn’t great. You keep forgetting what mode you’re in and not safe to look down at the button to check while driving. Just use four buttons…

I have been waiting so long for a review of the xc30. Can't wait to see it. Already the interior looks better in my opinion than what I saw in the very first cars with that dotted, cheap looking, panels in the doors and dashboard. This feels more homey. When can we expect to see the full review on main channel?

Volvo wanted to save wiring around the outside of the car, so they're in the middle. Having 4 buttons as opposed to 3 doesn't make much difference, but why wouldnt you just turn the air con on?

These window switches are rubbish! VW put them on their ID range at launch and got berated for it, then they changed back to four switches. Come on Volvo!!

I can put all 4 windows down at the same time in my 2015.Sienna. This approach is stupid and only omits one button! Too cute for its own good..

That is a very bad user experience.
Whenever you need to click several times to reach a trivial highly needed functionality is a bad experience and will lead to driver distraction.

I got pissed at this car in less than 10 seconds.

Carmakers lost the art of quirks. It’s supposed to be fun and unique, not frustrating and lame. It screams cost cutting, yet the price tag is still very high.

At least, there’s no funny business with the gauge clu-…*realizes what they did*…gawd dammit.
