I am really glad (and impressed) with your sauna-experience. You not only did the usual "this is steamy, hot and awkward", but you actually took your time to find out how special it is with a cool bath after a hot sauna. And it gets better with every dip... The feeling you have in your whole body after having hot sauna and cool baths is very special. And can't be achieved in any other way. I think .

Most of the statues and pieces of masonry/stucco at the Kungsträdgården Metro Station are salvaged from "The Klara tear-down" i.e. when the old quarters of central Stockholm was demolished to make room for Sergels Torg, the metro, car parks and fall-out shelters (it was the hight of the Cold War). Being part of the Blue Line Metro it has a lot of nice artworks, though I think the Red Line deserves some credit for its more "understated" look, especially Östermalmstorg with concrete 'drawings' by Siri Derkert, and Mariatorget with ceramic tiles by Karin Björquist (famous for making the Nobel Dinner porcelain)
