Trailer for the Hair and Beard Decree for the Oberammergau Passion Play 2022

From Ash Wednesday 2021, the Hair and Beard Decree will once again apply in Oberammergau. All participants in the Passion Play are called upon to let their hair grow, the men also their beards. Only when the last performance has taken place on 2 October 2022 will the people of Oberammergau be allowed to go to the hairdresser again.

This is very interesting, but most of my zoom meetings with colleagues look like the hair and beard decree has been in force far further afield than Oberammergau. :-)
