You need need NEED to try Primary frostbite out more, especially if you're going for a crit build, the damage is absurd and the upkeep is trivial.

Kinda suprised that you dont use primary frostbite alot when it comes to corrosive + cold shotguns, especially since the cold crit buff

God I love this thing, those mini explosions mean it plays basically the exact same no matter the enemy density you’re facing

One thing you should try with the Astilla Prime (despite it's ammo economy) is a build that goes for primarily more firerate, expecially with the arcane that increase shotgun firerate, it's a very funny and entertaining build and if you can somehow keep up the ammo (ie energised munitions or otherwise) can get some fairly entertaining results!

one of my favorite guns and seriously underrated. my favorite way to use this gun is build it for pure heat on ember with roar and using a kompressa primer against disruption targets.

I absolutely love this weapon with Arcane Avenger, Primary Frostbite, and Shivering Contagion. If there's a crowd of ten enemies (tall ask, I know) then it instantly freezes every single one of them and you get 40 stacks for Frostbite.

Used the original for weeks before I realised it was automatic. Just single tapped for some reason. Great gun but the MIGHTY SEER is the best shotgun rifle thing

I've got a pretty nutso crit dmg riven on my Astilla Prime. I abuse Motus Setup for the +100% crit chance after landing from double/bullet jump. Since you're almost always moving anyway, and I bullet jump a lot, it was a natural fit.

Here is something very silly: remember the time that you tried the komorex with cannonade and elementalist?, well, I tried it myselt, with blast and xata's whisper on top, it was beautiful, it felt like the proyectile was chaining arround, other candidates for this could be the sporothrix, exergis, lanka or anything that shoots projectiles with high or infinite body punch through

Build suggestion;

Torid with galvanized chamber, galvanized scope, galvanized aptitude, critical delay, vital sense, hammer shot, thermite rounds, and hunter munitions.

Mix that with any frame with nourish.

I personally use corrosive and cold and get the fire rate from reinforced bond, feels amazong
