data-sly-element attribute with example in AEM

data-sly-element attribute with example in AEM: data-sly-element is a sightly/htl attributes which replaces the element name of the host element.

In this video I have created a template called newtemplate which points to demo component which is a page rendering component. In this component I have parsys element where I will drag and drop my mycomp component which has some text in h1 element.

I have used editConfig so that our component will be visible in sidekick/siderail. I have copied touch dialog from title component which is by defualt available in AEM. Usin this touch dialog, use can select the element name. On selecting element name from the dialog, that element will replace the host element and text size will be changed.

This is how you can use this useful attribute.
