I'm lucky I live in Brooklyn. I'm running parts of the course constantly. The last mile is super tough as well. That climb back into the park is not fun.

QD!! NYC MARATHON!!! Great course review! I had a 2x5 mile tempo in peak week and ran it the last 10 miles of the course. 2 days after my long run so it was on tired legs. I thought the hardest part was the fifth ave hill. Because you’re not close to the finish line and it’s a steady incline. I got to feel it on tired legs. The Central Park rolling hills I know will be tough but I’ll also know I have 1 mile left so….
