Finally, the moment Big Daddy arrives...

The second hottest NYC Marathon day ever (after the dreaded yet spectacular 1984 NYC Marathon - which ironically was also my first ever marathon). Between the heat, the humidity, and about stopping to fix the inconsistency of the external battery and GoPro some 40 odd times, it's no wonder why my finish time and the overall panting towards the end was assured.

That said and even all the times I had to stop to fix the GoPro, and finally removed the battery door. And then at Kilometer 30 it started to rain with the door removed. LOL! That's why this video is 4:16 and not the 4:46, so it was about an hour of fussing with the devices. Not a bother in the least. I'll do it again next year!

You did a fantastic job recording the journey.
