Your dash didn’t even flicker when you turned the key over you got something wrong with the ignition

Worth fixing tho, especially with the condition it’s in bro, don’t be scared of some curse

That's what my Honda would sound like whenever I set up my homemade immobilizer, removing the fuel pump fuse, 😊

Basic maintenance that obviously the previous owner lacked on telling you about. There’s no curse just lousy wanna be half ass mechanics. Get all the issues fixed. Stay up to date on everything and they’re solid

sheesh I had a 97 SH that I learned to drive stick on in HS, beat to death, and it feels like forever ago. I can't believe these cars are still around

My prelude left me on the side of the road a good 4 times the year i bought it, ended up getting an engine swap to a 2.2, still discovered new ways to give me headaches. Ac stopped working, power mirrors died, rear defroster died but hey, its still my baby 😂

Preludes are old tech. I had plenty of no starts and stalls till I fixed my issues. I had my fuel pump capacitor blow on my ecu last year. It sucks but eventually youll change everything that will fail with new. Fingers crossed my 5th gen has been great in comparison of my 4th.

Mine hasn't had that happen but it blew my ecu fuse and I had to replace the fuse to use my autotragic second I got it home. Still needs new shocks, new exhaust, valve adjustment, fuel pump, oil pan gasket and an oil change.

I had a 2.2 that did this. Turned out to be the starter motor actuator sticking/not engaging flywheel. Tapped it with a ring spanner, and it started....cubed now 😢

Mine was because of the ancient main relay module. You can open it up, replace faulty internals and then re-solder all the contacts. That worked for me.

Looolll bro that's an ignition coil! My 5th gen had the same issue, my car randomly lost power while I was on a bridge and I blocked traffic for a bit but it got going again 😅

Welcome to the club. I basically have everything new and i still dont have spark. I got a push start and that ended up not working either. I got a coil on plug kit and that ended up not working either.

My cruise control doesn’t work on my 4th gen but if the button is pressed in and you try to crank it, it refuses to start. So weird.

I have a weird “feature” in my 5th gen.

If the car is off and I flick my indicator and turn on my hazards, the dash and fuel pump turns on
