This is an easy & elegant quilt panel finishing you can repeat on any quilt panel! Quilt panels usually measure 23" x 42", but it's easy to adapt this finishing for any size panel.

Kimberly shows everything from cutting and trimming the panel and strips to evening out her borders. And she loved this panel project so much, she made two!

Hi when I work with panels it is most important for the words to be level. So when I trim, I place my ruler under the wording and establish the perpendicular line for the sides. Then I use that as a guide to trim. That way the wording is level. I would have used the word Harvest for this panel. Try it!

I too am so glad you did this tutorial. I have so many panels along with the coordinating fabric but did not know how to put it together. I love, love panels. You have motivated and inspired me to start making panel quilts.

This is great! I love the courthouse steps style of border as opposed to a normal border. I have the perfect little panel to try this with for an Emergency Infant Services donation quilt!! ❤

Thank you for making this video. I 'm just finishing a baby quilt for a great grandbaby. I just added borders to the side. I really like your version. I'm going to use panels to make quilts for the grandchildern and great grandbabies for christmas.

So cute! I did my first panel a few months ago and the tip about squaring up the panel itself would have been so helpful at the time. Thank you again! You are not gonna believe this. I found in my scrapbook paper stash an almost exact pattern and paper. Crazy!
