I just baught the huawei P20-pro and got the P smart with for free. Im using the P smart as my daily driver and the P20-pro as my secondary phone. I have to say a commend huawei for both great phones. Even the P smart easy to use camera is not that great but using it for business does not suprise me of how great this phone really is.

why did you hit the "shoot" button twice at the end in quick succession. is the camera quick to take a photo or annoyingly slow. thanks. considering this for work photos

I use to carry a lumix FZ1000 when cycling, but this phone camera is so good, and with adjustments and editing you can end up with some pretty cool images. I would have liked the P20pro, with the Leica lens, but out of my price range.

Dynamic range doesn't seem that good. Sadly it's the fact in almost all budget phones

Mine has big struggles with focusing. It literally never focuses on near objects and I often have to try 5 times or more to get it focused a little bit. Rly disappointed. The rest of the phone is amazing tho

There is only two things I'd change in this phone. The CPU is a weak and the camera could be alot better. But it is very good for the price.

Did you get a chance to try the 'Light Painting' mode? Would love to see the results of it. What was the longest shutter speed you could achieve with it?
