Our second day at Kawaguchiko was not as sunny as the first day. It was cloudy since sunrise and we could not see Mt Fuji. We left the house after breakfast and made our way to the station.
After leaving our bags in the locker, we took the bus to our first destination: Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center.

We have been here on a clear day many years ago and enjoyed the full view of Mt Fuji. Sadly, we could not even get a glimpse of Mt Fuji on that day. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the walking around the area and getting some fruits.
We then took the bus back to Kawaguchiko Herb Hall, where we bought some snacks and souvenirs while waiting for the bus to our next place of interest.

It was an hour ride to Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, which was on the other side of Lake Saiko. The bus route goes along the lakes and we could see autumn foliage.

We had a quick lunch in the area before entering the village. There is an entrance fee of JPY 500 for adults and JPY 250 for children to high schoolers. Free entry for children below 7 years old.
Pre-COVID, there is rental of yukata for ladies and men can dress up as samurais. But it was closed when we went there this time. As we had to catch the bus back to Kawagoe, we decided to head back to Kawaguchi Station and did some last minute shopping there.
Thank you for watching and see you on the next video, where we went to a hidden gem in Japan during the new year holidays.
