Today I wanted to do a speed test of Nord VPN. And I'm going to go ahead and use or show you the different VPN protocols that Nord VPN has and do a speed test with each of those. So I'm going to start out, just doing a regular speed test without being connected to Nord. And while this is going on, feel free to check in the description below for a full length review of Nord VPN, if you're interested. And these are typically either coupons or codes for things that you can't get when you just go to their website. So we're going to put that all in the description if you'd like to take advantage of any of that.This was the Ike v2 protocol. Let's go ahead and check open VPN, TCP. I'm also not blocking any ads or malware, I'm just keeping everything real straightforward here. So let's go ahead I'll open up a new tab.Okay, let's connect to Nord. So when you connect with Nord VPN, they have a quick connect. And you can see Nord connects really fast, which is great. Nord is a an amazing VPN. If you don't have a VPN, and you're looking for a good one. Nord is one I consider to be one of the best overall as a great VPN. And that's because it does everything really well. Speed is awesome. Security is awesome. It's great for torrenting it's great for streaming. It's great if you live in countries where the internet is restricted, they have obfuscated servers. It's a kind of an advanced way of getting around that which is, which is really cool. As far as being easy to use for newbies beginners, I would say it's not necessarily the easiest, but still easy. So this is, even if you're brand new to VPN, I still considered Nord VPN, one of the best as far as that goes. So here we have, okay, this is Ike v2, 62 and 30.Yeah, this is interesting. I've noticed this with Nord work, I will actually get faster speeds using Nord sometimes than just being disconnected from a VPN.And then the Nord one came in at 62. Okay. But yeah, I have done tests where I did multiple I spent, you know, several minutes, testing going, disconnecting, reconnecting, and now it's possible there was just some spikes.So nor does really well for speed. I'll just say I will say that I that's one reason I was excited to do this video for you guys. So you could get a chance to see for yourself okay, let me try this again.So generally, with a speed test, it's nice to see speeds not drop more than 20%. And you know, for VPN, I would say anything that that does that you know it with your local area, you know, like for us servers, that should be good. And then international servers maybe down as much as 50%. But good, good VPN, or great VPN will do any better. And here's an example of why Nord is really one of the best and really, I would consider the best for a lot of people.Yeah, here we can see, okay, the two with. So 68 I want to move this one over here. So we can see the three speeds that I had when I wasn't connected, was 5968 68. So 68 seemed to be more the true one I had maybe a little slower start there.
