Kylie talked about how the (supposed) reason Zoobe actually shut down to begin with was because they weren't fans of the vulgar content people had been making. As advertisers wanted "family friendly" content (they even reached out to her to ask her if she could start making family friendly content instead.) So, as one last hail mary they made the BDSM video to try and cash in on that side of the Zoobe community / it was also apparently promotion for the 50 Shades of Grey movie that released around that time?

The actual reason why they shut down is because of those inappropriate memes on Tumblr and YouTube, most of them being Kylee Henke, Sam, ETC

My first experience for zoobe was way before the memes became popular. I saw a zoobe video of Om Nom (the green monster from Cut the Rope) saying "im making poopy in my pants" in 2017. Later on I disvovered the 4th of July workout bunny meme in 2019.

7/9/2023 good news everyone! A discord user was able to get the IOS version of Zoobe Cam Pets working on their old IPad! So the chances of Zoobe coming back have risen! (All info was found on the LMW)
