In this Colgate Conversation, President Jeffrey Herbst talks with Daniel C. Kurtzer, former U.S. ambassador to both Egypt and Israel, during the years 1997 through 2005.

Since then, Ambassador Kurtzer has continued to serve as a policy advisor. He now holds an endowed visiting professorship in Middle East Policy Studies at Princeton University.

Co-author of Negotiating Arab-Israeli Peace: American Leadership in the Middle East, he came to Colgate to talk about "The Arab Spring and the Future of the Middle East."
