Good! This happens all the time in NJ, with cops too. They approve permits/inspections in exchange for personal favors. I've seen it myself as a hotel sales manager. They get sleeping rooms and meeting rooms for free as a barter agreement to "overlook" many things.

So sounds like less of a safety issue and moreso unfair business practices. Unless I misunderstood the video, it sounds like the inspections were still being completed. They were just charging people extra to get their inspections done first.
