For those of you who are unaware about how these come into the pet trade and think cutting them in half is cruel here’s the real story first of all they don’t have pain sensing like you and I they literally tear them selves in half to propagate cutting them as painless and doesn’t bother them at all they heal quickly many clothes there wound in less than an hour some are fully healed in two weeks many animals such as earthworms also propagate themselves in this way and anyone who’s got a problem with sea stars will also tell you rip it in half and all you’ve accomplished is to sea stars now onto their collection from the wild these animals are often ripped from the rock not gently tickled off like in the video their feet are damaged and torn and the animals suffer damage that may never heal they are stuffed and crowded buckets and left on a boat or beach in the sun all day less than one and 10 makes it to the market alive and many die there after because of the terrible treatment being sent from the collector to the wholesaler then to the store then to your home animals which are properly propagated in this manner and kept in aquariums are much hardier much healthier and much happier than those who were collected from the wild we should applaud growers who are willing to aquaculture their stock and sell us healthy happy long living specimens I have bought from this store before and wasn’t credibly impressed by the health and vigor of the corals I received I have watch for many places before and never gotten such well cared for animals as I have from here

Try keeping the anemones in a floating basket. They don’t attach as much

had mine for about 6 months. woke up in the middle of the night and noticed the tank was cloudy. a few hours later when I got up. I had 2 mini maxi carpets. now i'm up to 4 and aout to get rid of them completely. they have killed my yellow eye tang, damsels alot of my cuc and my paired clowns. I discovered what it was doing when I found the tang stuck in it. time to get rid of them once and for all. as soon as I can get it unattached to the rock it's on.

I hate to be that guy, but cutting anemones in half really pisses me off.
