Rest In Peace, Billy

William (Bill) McCormack, 82, died August 7, 2017 at his home in Yorba Linda, CA after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. His funeral service will be held at 7pm Sunday, August 13th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, San Gabriel, CA. Bill was born January 1, 1935 in Dublin, Ireland to Thomas and Ellen McCormack. He emigrated to Australia in 1954 and then to the United Stages in 1960, eventually settling in Whittier, CA. In 1962, Bill married Margaret Doran. They had 3 daughters and a son: Ellen, Irene (Pearson), Deirdre (Hill) and Thaddeus. Bill earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from Cal State Fullerton and a Paralegal Certificate from UCLA, He worked as a Scenic Artist in the motion picture industry for 35 years and volunteered his paralegal services as a mediator for low-income individuals. After retiring from the studios, he took up acting, both stage and screen. His most notable performances included the Zoo District Theatre's production of The Master and Margarita and roles in films LolliLove and Agent 5: A night in the last life of. Bill is survived by his loving family, who will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
