This video brings together the magic of the 90s and my childhood memories. Back in those days, I remember traveling from İzmit to Hereke with my father while listening to İlhan İrem's "Yazık Oldu Yarınlara" on a white cassette tape. Upon arriving, we would spend hours fishing by the shore of Hereke, often until the sun dipped below the horizon. I must have watched those magical sunsets countless times during my childhood. Today, only a few things in Hereke remain unchanged, but the shoreline, the coastal road, and, of course, the breathtaking view are among them.

Today, I’m embarking on a journey to Hereke at sunset, revisiting these unforgettable memories. This video starts at the entrance of Hereke and ends by the shore. I wanted to share with you the beautiful scenery and nostalgia that fills this journey. It’s a trip filled with traces of the past and the unique charm of Hereke.
