While I hate the whale menace that has plagued our people for millennia, I also sympathize for any animal that has to suffer, so this whale should be humanly executed. While our ideological differences make human/whale coexistence impossible, I'd rather this whale be remembered as a hero, fighting for what he believed in. Perhaps one day, when every last whale has been annihilated, we can view their skeletons in museums around the world so we can finally learn something
