I admire Sandals and understand churches that want to reopen but I believe that, as a pastor myself, we need to delay reopening out of love and care for those in our community. We are essential and we can be the church without meeting in buildings IMHO. God bless.

I understand that a lot of people are anxious to get out and socialize, fellowship together. But what sense does it make to reopen churches when a vaccine has not even been distributed yet? Thank GOD, some church leaders are getting creative by having people congregate at drive-ins. Thank GOD, some church leaders are using the Spirit of a Sound Mind and are waiting until scientists, who do not care about politics, say to church owners and restaurant owners "There's no need to social distance." 😀🙌🏾

I’m a Christian. I think gathering together to worship and fellowship is important but at this time we need to practice wisdom and not be In a church that doesn’t allow us social distance.

To be completely honesty, I do watch the services online and I listen to praise and worship music. But I miss tremendously attending our hunter park sandals church. You saw how bad it got in Italy. They were literally turning away people from the hospitals because they had no room for all of the sick people. It hasn't gotten that bad here in the states because we are practicing self-quarantine and staying home. This is only temporary.
