chris, im looking into purchasing a gsm gps tracker ran by sim. i have few questions regarding sim and when in some of your videos you've mentioned fees. i understand this is per the carriers. i wanna know what exactly do the trackers use. do they use data say person only has 1gb of data a month or if they have unlimited sms and 1gb of data every time you text the gps asking for its location at any point does it take away from data or does it use only sms. if so could a person go to walmart and buy just a cheap disposable tracfone sim card and replenish mins/texts when low. i have a gov phone that gets x amount of mins put on each month i forget how many mins cuz i rarely every pay attention 1gb data and unlimited texts per month. if device only uses sms i could in theory just pull that sim out slap in gps unit and should be ok. does gps units make calls to you or can you call it? does it use data.
