Elgato Facecam Pro Review #elgato

I'm switching out my DSLR camera for the new Elgato Facecam Pro to see how they match up. Will this give me the crisp results I have come to rely on for my content creation?

Good info, but can't help but think the video was intentionally uploaded in 1080p rather than 4K to make it seem more comparable to the DLSR.. It's also not mentioned anywhere that this is a sponsored video, when it clear is....

What has consistently bothered me about webcams is how they tend to mute the vibrancy of purple hair. The Elgato Facecam Pro stands out as one of the better options, though there's room for improvement. In terms of pricing, it's certainly worth checking out. Thanks for the review queen 👑

Im wondering can you blur the back ground and still have it looking good. thanks for video, aghhh just finished the video and you covered the blur, I was wondering if it looks authentic, lol I'm such a snob, I want people to know Im using a mirrorless camera lol, but this cam seems amazing, but a little over priced do you think? my second hand ML camera cost under £200...
i know I had to buy a cam link, battery pack etc, oh and a different lense. so if I had not already got my camera this would have been very good value I guess.

Some of my thoughts exactly. Looking forward to freeing up my Cannon R5 from my desk set up, and having a dedicated web camera that will do the trick. Also, another key point is that this camera pairs very well with the Elgato teleprompter - if they ever get them in stock again! I actually found Elgato as I was learning OBS since it has so many things that pair well with that software. Nice video - thank you!

i always wanted to get a DSLR camera for Webcam but i keep hearing about overheating.. do you have yours plugged in by usb when your recording? or do you use the Camlink??

1 thing i cant stand is when people review a camera and talk about its 4K60 but upload the video in 1080p 30 and not even 1080p 60 but 1080p 30 or 24fps. the point of the video is to show the res and what it can do SMH...

I was worried when I got the cable out the box I was like what the hell is that, Luckily there was a USC C on the back of my computer, I hear you can get an adapter.
