FDNY Marine Battalion and Marine 6 respond to Box 8039

We are at quarters of FDNY Marine Battalion and Marine 6 at Building 292 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where we see the Marine Battalion and Fireboat "Bravest" as they respond on an EMS run with rescue paramedics to Box 8039 in New York Harbor for a person in cardiac arrest on a ship. The rescue medics were transported to Marine 9, whereupon they would board Fire Fighter II and go down to meet the ship. Engine 153 from Staten Island also responded to the Box. Marine Battalion's boat is a 2012 33-foot SAFE Boat. Marine 6 was using the Fireboat "Bravest", which is a 2011 65-foot SAFE Boat, which has multiple monitors, one of which is capable of pumping at 7000gpm. For anyone who is wondering, I was with FDNY personnel for the entire time I was there, and remained on the concrete (non-floating) dock. Enjoy the rare view of the boats responding. Man, several rare units all in one video. I love the ambulances the Rescue Medics have; amazing to think that with all those compartments there is still enough room inside to transport and provide ALS level of care.
