I'm so happy to finally see the digitakt in action and I have to say I'm quite impressed. The sequencer is amazing, but the fact that it can control external instruments with the same funtionality...wow. For those of us who love/demand immediate workflow--this is the only Elektron gear since the MD that provides it. I only wish they'd sprung for an analog filter to warm it up, because it simply doesn't sound that nice compared to a rytm. I suppose this + analog heat should solve any and all problems in that department though. Brilliant video, thanks!

The machine looks amazing and extremely cleverly designed (of course, it's an Elektron) I would love to see a proper sampler with some huge memory with those new and more capabilities (and new screen). Hope this is the way for an OT2!

2 questions:
-Can you resample a loop into a single track and play it seamlessly without stopping the music?
-Can it automatically chop samples from a drum loop?

If you're going to demo how a piece of gear sounds please mix in a direct feed of the audio. It doesn't help much to hear a microphone recording from within the room

Really nice! It looks pretty simple to use too. I have been using the Octatrack for many months now and still have to constantly refer back to the user guide because of the complexity. This looks great.
