Integration and Implementation Sciences (Gabriele Bammer)

This webinar features Gabriele Bammer, who is a professor at The Australian National University in the Research School of Population Health. Her presentation is titled “Valuing our knowledge and skills: why we should consider a new discipline of Integration and Implementation Sciences.” She describes what the discipline of Integration and Implementation Sciences (I2S) covers, how it operates and existing resources. This is followed by an open discussion. The webinar was broadcast and recorded on April 19, 2017.

The webinar series is a project of the Interdisciplinary Integration Research Careers Hub (Intereach), which provides mechanisms for communication, education, and collaboration among those interested in a community of practice around the interdisciplinary and integrative functions critical to team science research. Established to support the formation of a focused community of practice, this group draws upon the networks created among each other as well as the work of relevant established communities including the Science of Team Science (SciTS), Integration and Implementation Sciences (I2S), and the Association of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS).
