LEMONADE To Offer CAR INSURANCE?! | Can They Compete With TESLA Insurance? | LMND Stock

In this video, we will discuss the possible addition of car insurance to Lemonade insurance! They have been giving us some hints this week on Twitter that Car Insurance could be the next policy that they will add.
A lot of questions have been asked in the past, how can LMND compete with the likes of Tesla for example? Since Tesla insurance has a big advantage, they own the cars and the software. We will discuss all of that in this video & how Lemonade could use its AI/Machine learning to give drivers a better premium. Cars insurance is ripe for disruption!!

Of course they can complete with Tesla, Tesla isn’t going to have 100 of the market that they are in!! My biggest holding by far is Tesla and I love everything Elon Musk but there will be others in the market and one of them might as well be Lemonade as I’m an investor 😜

Hey I saw the hints too. However I thought they weren't going to go there because younger generation all ride uber/lyft, but I guess during the pandemic there has been a surge in car sales. Partnership with ride sharing firms would be a big plus.

Tesla still has much work to do for their auto insurance. I got my model Y in December and got a quote for auto insurance from Tesla. The quote was still 10% more than my AAA quote. And AAA had packaged my home, auto, and umbrella. Tesla needs to get more competitive and possibly partner up with another insurance company that can offer the full suite of insurance products. Imagine it that partnership could be with Lemonade. Of course, that means Lemonade needs to get into umbrella coverage insurance too.

Could you make a step-by-step video how to calculate a company’s value in 5 years. To understand if it is currently undervalued or not. I have trouble learning this skill. LMND could be used as an example.

I predict in the future 50% of car insurance companies will be the car makers themselves. Cars are becoming more digitised and data driven, and they will track things like your driving habits and provide more accurate, easier and cheaper insurance for the driver. I think Lemonade may know this already hence why they've avoided it.. So far. But I predict it won't just be Tesla offering insurance, it'll be all car makers.

It's very different between autonomous and human driving. My opinion is once Tesla rolls out full autonomous driving in large scale, car insurance is almost no longer needed because machine works so well that risk drops exponentially, say 1:10000. If this is true car insurance is only a temporary products and Lemonade might not even want to enter the market.

I believe the person as a driver should be insured so he can drive any car and he can have multiple cars. I live in Canada and I have three vehicles and each one is insured individually under my name and I only drive one vehicle at a time thank you for your videos insightful as always
