To be fair, I think there ARE other heroes in their universes. For instance, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 references Dr. Strange, and Andrew briefly mentioned that his universe has magic also. I think it’s a testament to the fact that their universe doesn’t have a Nick Fury figure to assemble the Avengers.
