Literally just happened to me 💀 dated this person for a month, they told me how cute I was, kissed me, would play with my hair, cuddle with me, and then when i confronted them on if we were dating or “just going on dates” they told me “I tried to tell you I wasn’t interested but you didn’t see the signs” EXCUSE ME? You literally made me feel so special and have me hope for once in like 3 years and made me feel like I was finally getting a healthy relationship then you just switch up.. anywho this video reminded me of that, and hopefully things work out in my favor someday ❤️ btw these type of people portrayed in the video suck.

People will say anything in an attempt to cover up cheating and self destructive actions or behaviors because they know they can't excuse any of that or find any actual reason for it

This is actually emotional manipulation, an ego boost for an insecure person. Also if they treat you like this, they are NOT your perfect person. Your perfect person would love you back and not pull this stuff. My affection/attraction level drops off the planet with this kind of stuff. Even if it was previously high. Bc it’s a high chance they probably act like this towards everyone just to feel desirable. Same with how some people treat their friends like theyre more-so “fans” rather than people who desire a real connection. The problem is influencer mentality and letting it bleed out into the real world. AKA main character syndrome. Best way to avoid this is to avoid people with a huge attachment to social media.

PS if you’re discouraged don’t be. There’s plenty of comments here that aren’t down for this either. Dont give into the normalization of narcissism and you’ll find someone. Whether it’s a romance or a true best friend.
