Am I presumptive to assume that the 15% dislike rate has something to do with what is around her head rather than what goes on her tongue?

Why would you dislike people being able to safely give birth????

Some of these comments are disgusting. This isn't a geopolitical issue, it's a human one. How would you feel growing up without your mother? Or hearing people say that you shouldn't have been born because you live in a 3rd world country? Newsflash: Birth rates decline as quality of life improves. Have some compassion for Christ sake.

Great work, Zubaida. Now someone should come up with something similar for birth control now, and then you see real freedom for men and women.

Why is there so many hateful comments? Everyone, nonmatter how poor, deserves life.

Zubaida, it was an honor being recruited by you in grad school and what a wonderful journey our project became (Other readers: Birthing Kit started out at $2 in 2009). Tears of joy and gratitude flow when I hear you speak with the impact of the kit. Mahalo!

I don't see how anyone could be against this idea. When social justice meets legitimate health and humanitarian work, I'm all in.

I wonder how long it takes for Ted to disable comments...

This was already a product that has been used for years. EMS systems all over the world use similar kits that have even more needed items in them.

This is a critical message not about marketing ideology. The resources in the earth are plenty for another billions humans but the management of the resources in the hand of selfish people. destruction of billions of crops on yearly basis is the issue not a new life who can make the difference in the earth someday. The humans/family objective should not be quantity but the quality, if you are able to send or write a positive message, then at least dont spread hate.
