In front of my home where I live is a 72 acre lake, a semi-pro bass fisherman bought it drained and restocked it with Florida bass crappie brim and tilapia… it’s nothing to go out on this lake and catch 8-10’ s back to back.. I’ve fished this lake all my life I’m 52 years old, and a new man bought and shut down all fishing… NOBODY fishes it now… It was the first lake I ever fished.. I have pictures over the years of 10’s and 12’s but no more…now this is a stocked lake and well fed fish and so it’s easy to catch these… but this guy in this video is catching fish we only dream of catching, people go a lifetime and never catch a fish like this… great job and video!!!! Enjoyed it!!

As an avid angler that has one bass to my name over 8, this is an incredible collection of absolute giants. Every one could be the fish of a lifetime. Awesome content!

Oh man!!! I can’t image what it would feel like to set the hook on one of those monsters, let alone the rush from getting them up and into the boat. That’s amazing.

It's nuts how many fish over 9lbs you've caught, wow

This guy is truly a bass master. Not many people can catch big fish much less as consistently (so it seems) as this guy does. Congrats brother.

This really puts into perspective the world record bass [both large and smallmouth]; including the 17lb on up as well.
*Thanks for the video;* it was great to watch! *God bless.*

I tried for 25 years to catch a largemouth over 10 - but one day I fished a small pond in a private game reserve. Then I caught two in a single day, one in the morning around 11AM and the next in the evening. Both registered over 5kgs but I don't know how much they weighed exactly as my only weighing instrument was a landing net designed for trout which went up to 5kg. I realize my mistake all those years was fishing for largemouth with smallmouth tactics, so while I caught plenty of fish, they were all under 5 pounds. The trick is to use large profile baits for sure. Well done! Love to fish those waters :)

When you catch so many 9lbers catching 10lbs and up becomes a normal reaction. Good stuff Damian. Tight lines!

Great historical record, illustrating just how lucky we are here in Ca., for the abundance of big Florida strain bass. I'm probably 40 years ahead of you, yet I've amassed a very similar big fish record with the delta allowing several fish whose weight were a couple categories higher ..12.65lbs & 13.2 lbs. both caught in Whisky slough, blk/blu 1/2oz. Jig. Only caught one Big fish in a tourney, 9.8 at Clear lake. Cheers..

Fantastic donkey compilation from a lifetime of Bass fishing, Damian!!! What's amazing is that you are still young, man. Catching a DD is hard enough in CA, but getting it on film is something entirely different and takes a ton of work. You sir are one of the GOATS! Thanks for sharing! \m/ \m/

Dude, way to yank in some absolute MONSTERS. This is helping me get through winter. Or it's giving me horrible cabin fever. Either way, keep it up man!

Hammers! There are hammers on Lake Chickamauga here too in TN. Great job on hooksets & landing them monsters. Gotta love kayak fishing. Tightlines.
